Unsung Heroes

They are made of fine steel

And their hearts, of pure gold,

Helplessness and pain they feel,

But yet emotions controlled.

Their feeble hands are a token

Of their sacrificial love so strong,

Their faint hearts are broken,

But yet they carry along.

Simple pleasures for them are blurred,

Sacrificed for loved ones known.

Unsung Heroes, will your song be heard?

It will one day, at God’s throne.
